The latest campaign by Australian label Tallow has once again blown us away! For Spring 2012, founders Shannon Clynes and Ali Mandali teamed up with renowned sand artist and surfer Jim Denevan. Titled, ‘Sands of Solace’, the third creative installment captures the unique relationship between surfing, art and grace and draws a comparison between the fluidity of the ocean, art and emotion.
Denevan’s artwork is formed around the natural compositions of desolate landscapes. The campaign showcases geometric sand sculptures carved with a piece of driftwood and a rake that are eventually erased by waves and weather. Comprising of four hero images, the campaign was photographed by Justin Crawford and our very own Samuel Lindsay and is complimented by a short film directed by Andrew Kidman. Watch it now!
