Established on Sydney’s shoreline and inspired by international trends, Urge footwear’s latest range has made its way onto our website and into our wishlists here at SurfStitch. Their Men’s Summer Campaign is reminiscent of summer afternoon barbecues and boat parties, with seaside shots, boating loafers, canvas materials and felt boots.

Fun fact: the quirky names of the shoes such as Randy and Boj are the names of people from all over the world that have inspired the design of the shoe!

The girls look is a little more edgy, with the ever-present leather sandal, woven and bright bohemian canvas flats (although I’m still not certain that they’re brighter than the model’s hair), and ofcourse…drum roll please…the wooden high heeled wedge. Why do we love it? It provides a pair of heels to wear out on Saturday night with your little summer dress, and is also one of the more acceptable day time heels to be worn with summer brights and printed florals.

It also looks as Urge has jumped on the slightly left-field trend of the ‘invisible heel’ sneaker. If you’re not familiar with this trend, its’ the shorter girls new best friend – a high top sneaker with a hidden wedge that adds inches!
