Interview: Tessa-Jay Slight from Circa Now

Karla [from SurfStitch]: We love seeing all of the SurfStitch styles you feature in your posts – when did you first come across SurfStitch and what made you come back again and again?

Tessa-Jay: All of the amazing brands and what the company represents !

K: Your style is pretty unique and you have a real talent for pairing unlikely pieces and making them work so well! What are you usually looking for when you visit SurfStitch?

T: SurfStitch have a lot of my favourite brands stocked online – I go straight to them and see what you have to offer. It’s usually a great range with some exclusive pieces.


K: What are you doing when you’re not being a style icon and a blogger?

T: Full time PR!

K: We had to ask: Winter Staples. What are your essentials this season?

T: Camilla and Marc logo tee, Friend of mine dress and a pair of Converse shoes.

K: Now we’ve all seen how influential and relevant fashion blogging is today: what made you start blogging?

T: I started in 2007, years ago when no one was blogging! I started posting as a creative outlet and a hobby along with my best friend – Christina from SRC783 (now a magazine).


K: If you could describe your blog Circa Now in 3 words, what would they be?

T: Personal, original and all things fashion.
