Take a look at our 5 must-have essential items to help ease the winter blues this season. Enjoy the full lookbook here…
#1 Ankle Boots
Find the perfect pair to complement your personal style and you’ll wear them all winter long.
#2 Statement Watch
Large, simply and elegant. The arm parties and bracelet stacks are a thing of the past as winter brings a refined and simple approach to embellishing.
#3 Long Sleeve Dresses
You know how they say to only show one asset at a time? Short hemlines and long sleeves are it for winter!
#4 Coloured Denim
This season make sure you add a popping colour to your favourite fit to stay right on trend and get a tonne of wear out of this winter staple.
#5 Cable Knits
A cable knit can be worn with every kind of winter outfit which is why you NEED one (or 5) this season.
I have a theory. And it’s all about basics. No prints, no patters, no logos.
Although a staple of most retailers, it’s always hard to find a nicely cut, good quality basic tee. Right?
Silent Theory…I think they may be on to something. Created from a subterranean underground basement, South of Melbourne, these guys have some really great basic tees. Although they do sell other stuff, I’m really digging the plain white tee and chino combo this winter. And remember, season to season, basics never go out of style…
This week’s style file features the beautiful Sam, one of our content uploaders and assistant graphic designer. Her style is always romantic and she isn’t afraid to take a few risks. She loves statement jewellery (in particular House of Harlow 1960 by Nicole Richie), tonnes of colour, original prints and MinkPink. Clearly she has an awe-inspiring taste, and rocks awesome style. Needless to say I was pretty stoked to capture her fun, fabulous look in today’s style file.

The Island Inspired Girl is glamorous, yet cool and casual (and rightly so). Dressed up with the latest tribal accessories or teamed down with delicate sandals, and finished off with her signature red lipstick. You’ll see her on the red carpet, on the runway and donned by celebrities such as Kate Mara.
So ditch those dull, colourless winter clothes, turn up the heat and escape to somewhere warm and fabulous in exotic floral and palm prints. My tip: start with the Jordan Jean by Motel – it’s sure to have you inspired.
