SurfStitch Winter Campaign.

Winter has well and truly set in so there couldn’t be a better time to let you have a sneak peak at the SurfStitch Winter ’13 Campaign. This campaign is all about those little moments in life that last a lifetime; grabbing your best friends and going on spontaneous road trips, camping by the beach with moonlit bonfires, breathing in the fresh crisp air of the rainforest and being in the company of the ones that make you laugh until your belly is sore.

Last week we featured our favourite women’s winter accessories and this round calls for the spotlight to be on the guys. Everything from beanies to sunglasses, classic wallets and  soothing records to satisfy even the chilliest of winter days. KICK, PUSH

At SurfStitch we tend to attract staff with a bit of an adventurous spirit. We just love being outside – barefoot wandering, feeling the dirt in between our toes, saltwater hair, wind on our faces. With quite a few staff working out of SurfStitch HQ on the Gold Coast we have a mix of surfers, skateboarders and snowboarders which means that any given month someone could be shredding in Japan or island hopping in Indonesia, fuelling their wanderlust.

We wanted to share a little bit of our outdoor lifestyle with you.

Meet David from Customer Service:

“Skateboarding for me these days is more an excuse to turn a typically mundane task into an enjoyable activity in itself. Filling the gaps between home -> surf -> coffee -> work. The walk/drive may seem like chore but if you’re ripping and weaving between obstacles on the way; you’re living the saying ‘happiness is in the journey, not the destination’.  Be warned: if you’re choosing your destinations wisely, you may develop a facial imbalance because the muscles used to frown will be fairly unused.

Can’t Get Enough of SurfStitch Autumn New Arrivals.

Autumn is well and truly in the air. Autumn is all about the mornings being dark and crisp as the sunrise spills over the ocean creating bursts of pink and purples in the air. MONDAY MUSINGS: Quirky Quilting

This week, a my Monday Musings are crowded by a standout trend. No, I’m not referring to bedding, but to a technique used to stitch fabric that adds pattern, volume in layers and in my opinion, attitude: it’s Quilting.

A little bit edgy, a little bit different, this trend has been seen all over bomber jackets, purses, shoes and the runway coming into Autumn and we are all over it.
