Trending in men’s fashion, the leather and PU (also known as Polyurethane) look is in and is invading the fashion scene. It is fast becoming a timeless staple for any man’s wardrobe in winter. The material is one that once invested in will last an eternity and can be worn for any occasion.
Introduce plain tees and bold fleeces to really set off the strong look that the leather does portray. Whether it is the real deal leather, the imitated type or the PU it should be added to your wardrobe!

These will both keep you fashionable on the outside yet warm on the inside. The parka bases its design around the old military parkas, that consist of hardy materials. This durable jacket can be worn over a knit to provide extra warmth, or just accompany a plain tee for a fresh night out.
There are many styles of jackets that are worn today, everything from the traditional leather jacket, the bomber jacket, the denim jacket and even the spray jacket. Jackets are becoming more and more popular to wear between places and for a night out. The range of colours gives the category a new life with the various depths of greens and blues.

Splendour in the grass 2014 is nearly here! This July, you will be heading down to Byron Bay to check out the likes of Outkast, London Grammar, Rufus, Foster the People and many more! So SurfStitch has the inside scoop on the latest festival fashion for all the festival goers out there.
Ladies, the lace play suits and the cute overalls have been trending this festival season. Coachella’s festival fashion has set the scene for the women this year, it’s spring/summer ideas have heavily influenced the winter coming on spring range for the festival goers. Stripes in the dresses and tops accompanied by high wasted shorts or a hat of any style will help you stand out and be best dressed from day 1.
Keeping the sun out of your eyes or being a fashion statement, the range of sunglasses that are trending is incredible! The oversized style to the cat eye style women have endless opportunities with the versatility of the sunglasses that are being created by Valley, Ksbui and many more.
For the men, whether you wear your favourite band tee or a tee or a tank you will want accompany it with shorts that are not going to show the mud. Splendour is infamous for it’s muddy grounds and dusty dance floors, so preparation is vital when it comes to colour selection. I would suggest darker colours for the shorts, if you are planning to have a break from moving those feet and resting on the ground. For the night, I would be taking a lightweight knit or a spray jacket for you or even a lucky girl that you may meet.
The injection of the oversized tees and tanks with the tighter shorts has been the overarching festival style this year. Also adding a hat into the mix will keep you both sun safe and fashionable. The wider brimmed hats for both genders have been all the rage, as well as covering the bad hair day!

Even rolling up your jeans can create the cuffed pant look, that can be accompanied by a simple shirt and jacket for winter.

These pants and chinos can be worn as seen below, or you could spice up your style by rolling them up 3 or 4 times or to until your heart is content. Making these pants quite the versatile as well as giving your wardrobe another option or two. Even pairing these with a long sock to give a bit more flare.

Chunky knits are arguably the greatest pieces in all winter wardrobes. Nothing is better than a chunky knit to keep you warm and comfy but still looking good on those chilly winter days.
The chunky knit trend can be worn with so many different looks. You can wear them with any of your jeans, leggings, short skirts, a-line maxi skirts…basically anything! One of our favorite ways to wear this trend is to add a little leather to your look, there is nothing wrong with a bit of contrast and edginess! Try your chunky knit with a leather skirt or leggings, if you’re braving the extreme cold go for a leather jacket.
This seasonal trend is one that we love, because let’s face it; there’s no better feeling than staying warm and comfortable all day while still looking good!
If you haven’t stocked up on your chunky knits yet you should start now! Check out our range here.
