It’s time to channel your inner child as the 90s classics and “Full House” days are making a serious comeback! We are currently obsessing over the denim overall trend that is going to be a huge hit this coming summer. Take note from these street style babes and wear a striped or basic tee underneath adding a touch of grunge with shirts tied around the waist and bucket bags. Also, throw on a pair of white cons or docs and you’re ready to hit the streets. This season it’s all about experimenting and having a bit of fun with fashion so why not try the Tallow Pineapples Overall or choose a leather, white or floral pair for a quirky alternate to denim. Denim overalls are boy-meets-girl cool, effortless and fun!

Her style is tomboyish, effortless and carefree and she seems to have the personality to match. Elle from They All Hate Us has developed a blog and intsagram following among thousands thanks to her style inspiration pics of others as well as her own personal style. Mixing high class classics like Louboutin’s and Hermes with chain stores buys she has a style that can relate to the masses.
With enviable tresses, Elle always looks perfection whether she’s rocking her staple denim shorts and striped tee combo or leather pieces and a blazer. Elle opts for the classic pieces rather than the latest trends however she mixes her look with stand out accessories for a wardrobe that can be easily mixed into your own.
Elle loves fine delicate rings contrasted with bold pieces and chunky necklaces. She isn’t afraid to mix and match silver and rose gold and loves a pair of dark oversized sunglasses. Shop her Valley DB Sunglasses below.

From the age of about 4 years old the collared shirt has been a must have for every guy’s wardrobe. The button down is a staple piece: being the page boy at your auntie’s wedding to your year 10 formal you can see how versatile a collared shirt really is.
Wear casually with walkshorts or beach shorts or for a night out with some chino pants or your fave pair of jeans.

Every day I get more and more excited as I see our New Arrivals racks stacking up with some gorgeous new boho inspired pieces.
The Bohemian trend is definitely one that I can see taking off this Spring. New Boho is all about making all the traditional boho pieces more accessible and easy to wear every day and every way. I know that I will trending this hard at the Splendour in the Grass Festival next week.
This is one trend that has the potential to go awfully wrong if over styled but if you can nail the New Boho look you will be a radiant gypsy goddess.
Things to love about Boho Chic:
- Braided hair
- Soft linens and knits
- Bold colours
- Flecks of gold here and there
- Shoes not neccisarily neccessary
- Hats over messy hair
- Dipping with jewels like an Indian princess

“I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans: the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity – all I hope for in my clothes.” - Yves Saint-Laurent
White, washed, black, skinny, boyfriend, denim and basics, denim and stripes, denim on denim. Really, what can’t you do with denim? It’s got to be the most versatile piece in your wardrobe, right alongside the humble white tee. There are denim shorts and skirts for summer, jeans and jackets for winter and shirts for everything in between. Denim is a 365 days a year item that can be worn with everything and anything that you already own.
We are currently obsessing over this street style favourite and regular; denim has become a girls best friend. The best thing about it is that you can wear your jeans to death as the worn in distressed look adds character and individuality to each pair. And if you’re wanting your favourite denim jeans to last you right into summer, why not take to a bit of DIY on the weekend and cut them into your favourite summer shorts. Below are my favourite denim looks whether you prefer the skirt, chambray shirt or want to try a bit of denim on denim you really can’t go wrong.

Just Add Sugar Soldier On Shirt- $59.95

The thrown together, I just got out of bed look that any girl can pull off is back with a bang at SurfStitch! Look back to the 90s when queens were in, Gwen ruled, Drew was too cool for school and Moss just had it all going on. The grunge girl is all about plaid, block colours, ripped denim and a fearless attitude of just not giving a damn!
90s grunge was all about the supermodels that defined their time, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer. The 2013 version of the trend has been influenced with a touch of femininity, it’s about defining the line between grunge and glam, tomboy and girly. Embrace being free spirited, carefree and cool with a model off duty look that is made up of relaxed knits, lots of denim, Dr martens, men’s t-shirts, maxis and flannelette. Take inspiration from the catwalks, street style and Cara Delevingne who manages to perfect the grunge trend of 2013. Shop all grunge looks at the Tough It Out trend page or shop my picks of the trend below.
