Karla and Taegen from the SurfStitch marketing team, along with our photographer, Chris headed out to James Street in Burleigh Heads on the sunny Gold Coast to catch a glimpse of what you guys were wearing while out and about!
Clean lines, monochrome, simple accessories and sophisticated cuts. It’s the art of minimalism and it’s a cool and classic trend that is always hanging around one way or another.
Get the off-duty model look with a few simple tips: keep your outfit free of patterns and frills, choose a shape and fit for the pieces you’re wearing that complements your figure, and keep the colour scheme simple. We love simple camis with jeans or raglan tees with overalls, and even playsuits and dresses in monochrome tones.

I’m currently loving any piece that is effortlessly easy, comfortable and cool. With the temperatures rising outside there’s little time to plan outfits as the beach, cocktails and catch up lunches are waiting. Throw on easy to wear items like denim shorts, dainty necklaces and dresses for day or your boyfriend jeans, mini skirt or tee dress for night. Take inspiration from the below bloggers and street style looks and shop some of my favourite outfits currently circulating on SurfStitch.

We all know how busy this season is in every respect – from work to family and especially the social calendar. Learning from my mistakes, I see how important it is to stock up on some versatile outfits so that you’re never left sartorially stuck when it comes to last-minute or extra events. Here are some simple rules and outfit ideas for those extra pieces that we all love treating ourselves to in the holiday season.
Keep it simple in black and white
You can’t really go wrong in monochrome, so for the ladies and the gents, either mix or match the two colours or just stick with one. Check out some dressed up and dressed down options!

Pair nude shades with pops of colour
Add a little interest to an otherwise plain outfit with accessories or pieces that are brightly coloured.

Dress up your look with the right accessory – a statement piece of jewellery, watch or some sunnies for the ladies can add the right touch. For the guys, a 5-panel cap, stand-out watch or leather shoes can make all the difference.

Traditionally the colour that attracts the least heat, white is the perfect shade for the newest addition to your wardrobe. Check out some of our LWD inspiration and shop some of our favourite white dress styles on SurfStitch.
