Winter has well and truly set in so there couldn’t be a better time to let you have a sneak peak at the SurfStitch Winter ’13 Campaign. Mens Trend: The Drop Crotch

The drop crotch jean and pant is a new and daring trend not for the faint hearted. However, when done right it is a fresh style that gives a street edge to ordinary jeans. For some this look may be a bit too much, but if you style it with a basic tee and sneakers you will have a statement, edgy look. Don’t ever get this look confused with the MC hammer pant, this is definitely not a baggy, loose style circa 1980s. Staff Style: New Arrivals Of Autumn- Part Two.

This week we are starting to see a few more knits, jumpers and jackets thrown into the mix, which seems directly proportionate to the amount of great knits and jackets coming through our new arrivals on site. MENS TREND: Part of the Crew.

You’ve probably never paid too much mind to necklines, but this is one to take note of. Traditionally sporty in nature, the crew neck is flattering to the shoulders and chest,and is cropping up left, right and centre. Don’t know what a ‘crew neck’ is?

Crew Neck (Noun)

1. A close-fitting, round neckline, esp. on a sweater or T-shirt: “a crew-neck sweater”.

This neckline is not exclusive to preppy sweaters and knits from your gran – we’re seeing it a lot on SurfStitch on everything from tees to raglans to knits and fleece. Staff Style: The New Arrivals Of Autumn- Part 1.

With our Autumn new arrivals streaming in the door, I thought it was time for another wander around the office to see what our team here at SurfStitch have added to their shopping cart and how they wear it.

What I found was was a mixture of earthy and warm tones, some lovely lace ups and a plenty of pairs of jeans. Check out how the SurfStitch team are rocking their new arrivals this Autumn.

Hello gentlemen, this week we’ve taken a turn for the preppier (*note, this may not be a word) introducing you to the latest Menswear label to hit our site Lyle & Scott.

A little more sophisticated then the usual men’s basic wear but a refreshing and refined addition that will have you looking preppy and polished without even having to try. Lyle & Scott have a rich history. Founded in 1874, the vintage British sportswear brand, made from the finest materials, has been a favorite among the golfing elite and English rock and film stars alike. Weird, but you can see how it works.

Back In Black.

SurfStitch brand Lee contracted LA skater, filmaker and photographer Mike Piscitelli to shoot their AW 13 wear. And so, with the help of models Cole Mohr and Cora Keegan the following tale of late night rock and roll and anarchy was created all covered in tattoo’s, glitter, torn fabric and of course, the colour black.
